Weightlifting-Trinity – Weightlifting Champions

Trinity College, Kandy won the weightlifting championship for the fourth consecutive year at the National Schools Contest held at the Dheerananda Maha Vidyalaya, Pilimatalawa from 14th to 16th of September 2013.

Trinity College won six Gold medals, six Silver and eight Bronze.

Lachana girihagama set three junior National records contesting in the 77 Kgs weight category lifting 106 Kgs snatch 137 Kgs in clean and jerk and the total lift of 243 Kgs.
