Karate-Joseph Vaz – Karate Champions

Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa Karate Team emerged All Island Karate Champions organised by the Sri Lanka Do Federation.

At this meet Niyon Tharindu Sampaya (Left) who represented Joseph Vaz College Under 17 age group team won the first place in the Kata Category and was placed within the round of the best eight in Kumite Category.

A L A Tharindu Madusanka (Right) who represented the school in the under 19 age group won first place in the Kumite Category and also won second place in the Kata Category. They were seen here with W Suraj Randil (Centre) Coach of The Karate Team of Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa.
