Asian Para Games 2014- Sri Lanka wins two more silver medals

Sri Lakankan Para athletes added another two more silver medals to their medal basket at the Asian Para Games currently underway in Incheon South Korea

 

Pradee  Sanjaya and Dumeera Maduranga brought this honor to Sri Lanka when they and grabbed second place in the men’s 800m ( T 36/46 ) event  and Men’s 100m (T44) event respectively.

 

Pradeep clocked 1 minutes 58.68 sec while maduranga finished 100m dash with a time of 12.40 seconds.

 

With these two silver medals Sri Lankan medal tally 11 ( 1 gold, 6 silver , 4 bronze) and was in the 19th place in the overall medal table.

The final day of the competition begins today Sri Lankan hoping to grab another medal in the men’s 400m (T47) event. 800m silver medalist Pradeep Sanjaya  will compete in the event.
