Sri Lanka Sevens skipper Sudharshana Muthuthanthri, who represented the Auckland Sevens outfit, ended as the Plate runner-up at the Bayleys National Championship 2018.
Muthuthanthri, a former Thomian and Havelocks player, went to New Zealand and missed out on the club season. The move ensured that he received immense exposure at the highest level of rugby in New Zealand.
