Royal College, Colombo beat Trinity College, Kandy 39 points to 7 to win the 1st leg of the 74th Bradby Shield at the Royal Complex.
The Royalists dominated the game from the outset to end the first half with 19 points to 0, with 3 tries and 2 conversions. Royal College added 20 more points to their score in the 2nd half with three more tries, a conversion and a penalty while the the lads from Kandy managed to save some grace with a one try and it’s subsequent conversion.
The 2nd leg of the 74th Bradby Shield will be worked off on the 5th of May in Pallekelle.
