Sri Lanka finish fourth in 4x400m men’s relay at Asian Games

Sri Lanka’s attempt to secure a medal in athletics in the 2018 Asian Games was unfortunately and narrowly missed when its mens’ 400×4 relay team finished fourth in the final of the event on Thursday. Having finished their heat in third place clocking 3.06.06, Sri Lankan lads improved their timing in the final to finish with 3.02.74 just behind Japan 3.01.94. Qatar won the gold with a timing of 3.00.56 in hard fought race.

 

 

Sri Lanka rugby team commenced their quest for a medal at the 2018 Asian Games in style when they drub United Arab Emirates by 68 points to nil.
