Sri Lanka national cricket team is continuing their devastating form in all-round cricket and fitness thus resulting in a loosing streak against every international opponent. Sri Lanka’s coach Chandika Haturusinghe is trying to come up with make-shift solutions, none of which had been productive so far, as once the most demanded coach too is suffering hiccups of Sri Lanka’s bad run.
Having already lost the ODI series 3 matches to nil against visiting England, Sri Lanka is expected to play their guts out to salvage some pride to country’s pastime sport of cricket.
None of the Sri Lankan batters had been consistent and wicketkeeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella said that every Sri Lankan batman should come out with more confidence to score for the country. “We always try to do our best but unfortunately, we end up being the losing side. It is high time that Sri Lanka start winning matches” said Dickwella adding that there would be not more than 15 ODI matches before the next World Cup tournament in England.
Dickwella further said that as a team that have got to correct all types of mistakes. “Being professional players, we cannot afford to repeat the mistakes although we are engaged in a sport. We should be very focused and improve a winning mentality and thrive for victory.”
