Buoyed by Mishara’s century – 123 off 157 balls (3 sixes, 12 fours) Sri Lanka ran up a competitive total of 262-6 with skipper Nipun Dananjaya chipping in with 47 off 44 balls and Navod Paranavithana scoring a patient 45 off 78 balls.
However Australia spearheaded by a fine century from Sam Fanning – 108 off 94 ball (2 sixes, 14 fours) who put on an opening stand of 114 with Corey Hunter (47) reached their target with 13 balls to spare
