CWC19 Fanzone coming to Leeds for England v Sri Lanka

The people of Leeds are invited to head down to the free-to-enter Fanzone in Millennium Square, which will be open between Friday 21 and Sunday 23 June.

Cricket World Cup fever will hit Leeds on Friday as England take on Sri Lanka in Headingley’s first #CWC19 fixture, and the Fanzone will be showing live screenings of all World Cup action over the weekend, along with live music, entertainment and food and drink from around the globe. There will also be exciting street cricket activities and free coaching sessions for all to try!

The Fanzone will be showing four games across three days, including England’s clash with Sri Lanka from Headingley as well as Pakistan v South Africa from Lord’s.

Leeds’ full Fanzone schedule is below.

FRIDAY 21 JUNE

Fanzone opens 10:00 AM

Live Screening 10:30 AM:  England v Sri Lanka

SATURDAY 22 JUNE

Fanzone opens 10:00 AM

Live Screening 10:30 AM: India v Afghanistan
Live Screening*: West Indies v New Zealand

*Screening begins once India Vs Afghanistan match ends

SUNDAY 23 JUNE

Fanzone opens 10:00 AM

Live Screening 10:30 AM: Pakistan v South Africa

Please note: Alcohol will be served in the Fanzone, but spectators are not allowed to bring their own alcohol in. No glass, large flags, chairs or portable furniture are allowed to be brought into the Fanzone.
