Netball WC 2019-South African winning streak continues

  Aftern their brilliant 55-52 win over Jamaica on Sunday, the Proteas kept their winning streak underway at the Netball World Cup, easily defeatingScotland 66-38 in Liverpool on Monday.

After coach Norma Plummer made a number of changes to the side that faced Jamaica, the Proteas edged the first quarter 14-10 as they eased their way into the match.

Playing with real speed, the Proteas managed to extend their lead to 32-20 by half-time.

The third and fourth quarter saw the Proteas dominate as they cruised to an easy victory.

The Proteas now play Uganda with a win securing them a semi-final spot.

The match takes place on Wednesday.
