Liverpool.Defending Champions Australia had a tough task to over come in the first semifinal match of the Netball World Cup 2019 when they secure 2 goal margin victory over South Africa.
Australia reached their fourth successive Netball World Cup final after edging a 55-53 win.
The game was evenly poised as both teams were with the ambition of booking a seat in the finals . Surprisingly South Africa saw the first goal going through the Australian goal in the first quarter but Australia bounced back and take the first quarter 14 goals to 10
11-time winners squandered an eight-goal half-time lead with the win in the second quarter 17 goals to 13.
Proteas stormed back to the game during the next two quarters (12-16, and 12-14) .
But it was not enough them to see through to the finals but it was a thrilling encounter where the crowd enjoyed high class of netball.
