Dinesh Priyantha eyes Paralympic gold as he received ministry donation

Rio Paralympic bronze medalist Dinesh Priyantha said that his aim is to bring the gold medal in the Javelin throw at Tokyo Olympics this year as he received a cash donation from the Minister of Sports for his silve medal-winning performances at the World Para Olympics Games concluded recently in.

Sports Minister Dallas Alahapperuma gave away the cheque to this champion javelin throw para-athlete at the Sports Ministry while his coach Pradeep Nishantha and senior sports officials of the Paralympic Committee and Sports Ministry Secretary  K.D.S Ruwanchandra were present at this occasion.

“Actually I won the bronze medal at last Rio Paralympic followed by silver at world Paralympic and gold at Para Asian Games in Jakarta and now I am focusing on gold in my throwing event at Paralympics,” said Dinesh Priyantha, who added that he is been well assisted by his coach for this attempt.
