Dave Whatmore has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Nepal National Cricket Team, having coached the Sri Lankan team to the 1996 World Cup.
He has twice coached the Sri Lanka national team and later coached Bangladesh, Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
The 66-year-old has played seven Tests and one ODI for Australia.
