A South African to make Sri Lanka criceters fit

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has appointed Grant Loudon, a South African, as the Fitness Performance Manager of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institutes Training Division. Accordingly, Loudon’s service will be effective from today (January 11).

An expert in strengths and positioning, Luden will focus on developing the strengths of national level athletes while overseeing the fitness performance of all teams under Sri Lanka Cricket.

Prior to signing a contract with Sri Lanka Cricket, Luden was the coach and coach of the Pakistan cricket team from 2014 to 2019. When the Pakistan cricket team won the Champions Trophy in 2017, Luden was instrumental in improving the team’s fielding. In addition, he has a wealth of experience working as a coach on the strengths and standardization of Bangladesh Cricket during 2008 and 2013.

In addition to his international experience, Luden has represented the Nashua Titans and the BPL in the South African Premier League. He has also coached the Dhaka Gladiator team, which represents the cricket tournament, on strengths and positioning.

A graduate of Sports and Exercise Technology, Loudon also holds a Certificate in Tertiary Cricket Training from the South African Cricket Institute. Commenting on Ludan’s recruitment to the Sri Lanka Cricket High Performance Center, Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva said, “We welcome Ludan to our cricket system. We hope that his arrival will add more to the strengths and quality of the national team as well as the emerging players. ”
