Sri Lanka opener Lahiru Thirimanne scored the second Test century of his cricketing career today (17) in the first Test against the touring England team at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
The 227-ball century included 11 fours.
Lahiru Thirimanne last scored a century in 2013 against Bangladesh at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. He scored an unbeaten 155 and then had to wait for eight years to score a century.
Sri Lanka are currently 195 for three in their second innings.
