School boy Sri Lankan cricketer Vijayakanth Vyaskanth has been included in the final names of nine Sri Lankan cricketers for the 2021 VIVO IPL or Indian Premier League Cricket Tournament who have been shortlisted.
Along with 19 year old Vijayakanth Vyaskanth who played for Jaffna Stallions , his team mate Mahesh Theekshana also in the list
Out of 1114 players from around the world, only 292 players were shortlisted for the final auction.
It is surprise to see IPL has not considered most veteran players who have registered for auction this time. The total number of Sri Lankan players registered for this is 31.
