Cricketing legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Brian Lara and Muttiah Muralitharan are all set to return on the cricket field as the Road Safety World Series T20 2021 is scheduled to be played in Raipur from March 5 to 21.
The Road Safety World Series T20 League aims to create awareness towards road safety in the country and change people’s mindset towards their behavior on the roads.
Notably, last year the first edition of the series was canceled after four games on March 11 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The venue for all the matches of the Road Safety World Series will be The Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
Six teams would be part of this competition- India Legends, South Africa Legends, England Legends, Bangladesh Legends, Sri Lanka Legends and West Indies Legends. The Australia Legends team decided to pull out of the competition due to the travel restrictions in the country.
