It has become a fashion for many cricketers and Bollywood actors to have one or more dogs in their company.
Team India coach Ravi Shastri has five dogs at his farmhouse in Alibaug and he has named them on various cricket terms as Bouncer, Beamer, Flipper, Skipper, Yorker.
“My buddies Bouncer, Beamer, Flipper, Skipper, Yorker tucking into their lunch on a rare sunny day on the west coast in India 🇮🇳. Miss you guys. See you soon”, he shared a video on social media.
On a recent England tour, he was also seen playing with the England groundsman’s dog on the field.
Shahstri will have ample time to spend with his pets once he quits the coaching role.
