Sri Lanka’s Samitha Dulan Kodithuwakku won the bronze medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw – F44 at the Tokyo Paralympics on Monday (30).
He won bronze with a Personal Best of 65.61 m
Military Police Corporal Dulan Kodithuwakku, just a couple of hours after Sri Lanka won the first-ever Gold Medal carried away a Bronze Medal in the Javelin Throw F 64 event on Monday (30).
General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the national Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak on hearing the second Sri Lankan Paralympian’s achievement congratulated him over the phone.
The Bronze medalist Corporal Dulan Kodithuwakku has earlier participated in Asian Para Games in Indonesia 2018, World Para Games 2019 in Dubai and National Para Games.
He joined Sri Lanka Army on 5th December 2009 and he is a native of Deniyaya.
