Four Sri Lankans will be in action tomorrow

Four Sri Lankan Paralympians will be in action tomorrow at the Paralympics2020 currently underway in Tokyo Japan.

Kumudu Priyanka will be the first athlete to compete in the Women’s T47 finals to be worked off at the Olympic Stadium at 09.35 am Japan Time (06.05 am Sri Lanka time).

The final Sri Lankan medal prospect Maduranga Subasinghe will be on the track of the Olympic Stadium at 10.45 am Japan time (07.15 am Sri Lanka time) to compete in Men’s T46 second heat. He has recorded 49.75seconds as his personal best while the season’s best read as 50.54 seconds. Taking into consideration the athletes in his heat Subasinghe has a good potential of making it to the finals.

Sampath Bandara will be in action in the Archery Men’s Individual Recurve open 1/16 Elimination. He will compete with India’s Vivek Chikra. The event will take place at 12.45 pm in Japan time. (Sri Lanka Time 09.15 am). The event will get underway at the Yumenoshima Final Field

The final appearance of a Sri Lankan on the day will be at the Men’s Shot Put F42. Palitha Bandara will represent Sri Lanka in the event scheduled to get underway at the Olympic Stadium at 19.10 pm Japan Time ( 2.50 pm Sri Lanka Time)
