Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, has been infected with the coronavirus. This has been confirmed in the daily test conducted in the Indian team. This was officially confirmed by the Indian Cricket Board.
Ravi Shastri has been quarantined after being infected with the coronavirus, and batting coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and physiotherapist Nitin Patel have also been quarantined under the precautionary measures, Indian Cricket said. They had also issued a special statement in this regard.
All the coaches were subjected to rapid antigen tests today (05) and they had not arrived at the Oval where the India-England Test match is being played.
