It was an exibition of sheer pace and tricky spin attack bu Sri Lanka when they bowled out the Dutch for 44 runs in just 10 overs.
Winning the toss Dasun Shanaka stated since his team has 3 games in Sharjah, he opted to field first mainly to asses the pitch conditions.
None of the Irish batters could cope with the pace and spin and the quality of the Sri Lankan bowling cordon.
Sri Lanka won with ease by 8 wickets , however Pathum Nisanka should have batted longer , spent more time to get use to the pitch , knowing the fact that he has 3 games at this venue.
Charith Akalanka too missed out. He too should not have thrown his wicket. No doubt it was a great win , but Sri Lanka still have their top order woes to sort out since they now enter the Lions den.
