Pakistan were simply too good for the mighty Indians in Dubai a short while ago.
Winning the toss the Pakistani skipper opted to bowl first. Shaheen Afridi stuck early when he had Rohit Sharma plum in front , off an inswinger. K.L.Rahul , had his timber disturbed by the tall Afridi , and India slumped to 6 runs for 2 wickets.
The power play was controlled by Pakistan , with India on 36 runs for 3 wickets which is a rarerity.
Skipper Virat Kholi and Rishab batted with some purpose. Kholi made 57 and Pant 39 , but the rest of the Indian batters could not cope with Pakistani meticulous bowling and fielding by the winners.
India did well to make 151 for 7 wickets which looked a defendable total against a top quality Indian bowling attack.
Mohamed Rizwan and Barba Azam were great to watch. The pair carted the Indian to all four corners of the ground. It was an exibition of super batting by two fine players who found the strong Indian bowling to their liking.
Pakistan batters executed all bad balls to the fence, their running between wickets was exceptional. Skipper Barba Azam remained unbeaten on 68 , whilst Mohd Rizwan unbeaten on 79.
This is the first time India lost a T 20 game by 10 wickets. India bamboozled, by a better team. India have not played against Pakistan for long periods of time , hence it was evident that India were stuck by Pakistanis exceptional seamer Shaheen Afridi.
Well played Pakistan , richly deserved a comprehensive win.
