It is with great sadness to inform on the passing away of former Sri Lankan rugby captain and cricketer, media manager, trainer, and outspoken commentator, Chandrishan Perera. He was influential in the fitness training of the champion 1996 cricket team and served in SLC as a media manager, being an integral part in the media community. A former CH and FC and Sri Lanka Rugby player, he was a renowned commentator whose voice was synonymous with Rugby. He was also the coach of Women’s Rugby 7s. His service to Sri Lankan sports will be greatly remembered.
