Winning the toss and electing to bat first Afghanistan cartered the Scottish bowlers all parts of the park. They smashed 190 runs for 4 Wickets. Scotland learnt what it is on the big stage. Najibullah Zardan 59 , Rahamanullah Gurbaz 46 , Hazarat Zazai 44 , were simply outstanding, and they proved that they can clear park with their strong hitting.
Afgjans run brilliantly between the wickets. Their power hitting will jitter many an opponent in this T 20 World Cup. They look a side that can beat the best , with two world class spinners in Rahman and Rashid Khan.
Scotland had no clue against a quality Spin attack , that was so accurate that resulted in 4 of their batters being dismissed for no score.
George Munsey top scored with 25 , Kyle Coetzer got 10 and Chris Greaves got into double figures with 12.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman playing his debut world cup scalped 5 for 20 , whilst the old fox Rashid Khan took 4 for 9.
Tomorrow , is a big day as the Protease play the West Indies, whilst Pakistan take on New Zealand.
