Namibia did well , to win win by 4 Wickets, but had to wait till the 20th over to beat the scots in pursuit of 110 for victory.
Put into bat the Scottish lost 3 wickets in the first over , to a fine spell of seam bowling by Namibian seamer Ruben Trumpleman , who took 3 wickets for 17 runs to restrict Scotland to 109 for 9 wickets.
Michael Leanskey top scored with 44. Chris Greaves made a usefull 25 , after they reduced to 3 wickets for 2 runs in the very first over.
Chasing a low score of 110 to win their lung opener Namibia lost 6 wickets in reaching the target.
JJ Smit made an unbeaten 32 , and he found solace in Craig Williams who batted with responsibility for his 23. Useful contributions from David Wiese 16 and Van Lingen 18 helped them to win the game .
The fielding standards of both teams were excellent , and this is a good sign.
For the winners Trumplemen 3 for 17 and Jan Frylinck 2 for 10 were the pick of the bowlers. It must be stated that it took Namibia 19.1 overs to accomplish their target , hence the Scotts did well to dragthe game to the final over.
