The Sri Lanka Under 19 have recorded their second win in the warm up matches by defeating Uganda Under 19 by 231 runs. The match was played with 13 per side, with 11 each when batting and fielding.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. Sadisha Rajapaksa and Shevon Daniel steadied the ship with their top order contributions of 75 (retired) and 46. Sakuna Liyanage made a quick fire 23 runs and Yasiru Rodrigo finished on 32* as the scoreboard read 277/8. Pascal Murungi and Joseph Baguma picked 2 wickets each.
Chasing the score, the Uganda team were in a terrible position of 21/7 and managed to double the score till they were shot out for just 46 runs. Dunith Wellalage was the chief destroyer with 4 wickets and refused to give any run in his 3 over spell. Pacers Rodrigo and Chamindu Wickramasinghe picked 2 wickets each. For Uganda, extras made the most runs (17) and Brian Asaba made the only double figures of 13.
