The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hired the services of Ranjan Madugalle and Roshan Mahanama as match-referees for the upcoming PSL (Pakistan Super League) matches to be played in Pakistan.
The 7th edition of the PSL is scheduled to be played in Karachi and Lahore between January 27 to February 27.
Madugalle and Mahanama have been regular visitors at Pakistan and the former ICC match-referee Mahanama has already officiated in the PSL, whereas, Madugalle, the ICC’s chief match-referee will make his debut in the PSL, though he has officiated in the bilateral series.
The PCB has also hired the two foreign umpires for this mega event.
Michael Gough and Richard Illingworth (both Englishmen) are on ICC’s Elite Umpiring Panel will officiate in the PSL.
