Sri Lankan Footballer and Star Defender Duckson Puslas was found dead in his apartment in Maldives. The police are investigating as to whether he has committed suicide.
He was in Maldives as he was part of the Dhivehi Premier League. He was part of the Valencia Football Club. He had sustained several injuries and did not play today.
The reason for his death is unknown but his service to Sri Lankan football as a defender is unforgettable. He was a key player in numerous occasions for Sri Lanka and was one of the best defenders Sri Lanka ever had. He was only 31 years at the time of his death.
