Star Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has tested positive for the Covid-19 and he has been ruled out of the first Test match of the two-match Test series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
The Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh 2022 consists of two-match Test series and a 2-day match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh XI, which is being played at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan No 3 Ground, Savar.
Meanwhile, the first Test match of the two-match Test series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is all set to commence on Sunday, May 15 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. And the second and final Test match of the series will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur from Monday, May 23.
