Sri Lanka Bangladesh second Test starts today

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will lock heads in the 2nd Test of the ongoing series. The BAN vs SL 2nd Test is scheduled to be played from May 23 (Monday) to May 27 (Friday) at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

The BAN vs SL 1st Test ended in a draw with magnificent bowling and batting attacks by both the teams. Batting first in the match, Sri Lanka posted 397-10 in the 1st innings with Angelo Mathews smacking a spectacular 199-run knock. Kusal Mendis hit 54 while Dinesh Chandimal scored 66 runs.

Later, Bangladesh responded with 465 all-out, taking a 68-run lead after the end of 1st innings. Tamim Iqbal (133) and Mushfiqur Rahim (105) scored fabulous centuries for the team. Liton Das also scored 88 runs. In the 2nd innings, Sri Lanka reached 260-6 till the stumps of Day 5 and the match ended in a draw.
