Sri Lanka to make three in a row in the ODI series against Aussies

Sri Lanka are in a commanding position in the ODI series, winning two games on the spin, after losing the first game. In the previous game in Colombo, the visiting bowlers were outplayed as Sri Lanka chased a total of 292 with six wickets in hand and nine balls to spare, thanks to a splendid century by Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka.

In the first ODI, after Sri Lanka set up a strong total of 300, Australia comfortably chased down a revised target of 282 with nine balls to spare, courtesy of Glenn Maxwell’s heroics. In the second game, Sri Lankan bowlers held Aussies chase, defending a revised target of 216 and winning the game by 26 runs. Sri Lanka, after the disappointment of losing the T20I series, are one win away from clinching the series. Australians, on the other hand, would look to come hard in the next game and take the series to a decider.
