Ramesh Mendis’ 3 for 42 and Prabath Jayasuriya’s 2 for 59 helped Sri Lanka continue to dominate Pakistan in the second Test at Galle International Stadium.
Earlier, Sri Lanka were bundled out for 378 runs after resuming at their overnight score of 315 for 6 on Monday. Both Yasir Shah and Nasem Shah picked three wickets apiece for Pakistan. In reply, Pakistan were tottering at 191 for 7 when the umpires called for Stumps.
Agha Salman was the top run-getter for the side with a 62-run knock. Pakistan trail Sri Lanka by 187 runs. Overnight batter Yasir Shah will be joined by a new batter when Pakistan will resume their innings at 191 for 7 on Tuesday.
