Shamil Wakeel becomes the third Sri Lankan player to make it to the Round of 32 for Squash at the Commonwealth Games after he defeated Shawn Simpson of Barbados 3-2.

Ravindu Laksiri defeats Shomari Wiltshire of Guyana 3-1 in the Men’s Squash Round of 64 at the Commonwealth Games. Similarly, Yeheni Kuruppu beat Ahsley Khalil of Guyana 3-2
