The Commonwealth Games hosts ran in nine tries to beat Sri Lanka 57-00 in their Pool A match of the Women’s Rugby Sevens tournament.

Alicia Maude, Grace Crompton and Lauren Torley added four tries to the scoresheet in the second half, with two being converted.

Sri Lanka will play against New Zealand nest . The match scheduled at 10. 44 pm local time tonight.
