Chithana Vidanage finished 9th position with a total weight of 282kg ( Snatch 127kg, Clean & Jerk 155kg) in Men’s weight lifting 81kg category in the Commonwealth Games 2022 .
This is his last Commonwealth Games
England’s Chris Murray won the Gold medal with a Game’s record of 325kg while Australia’s Kyle Bruce claiming the Silver medal with a weight of 323kg, Bronze won by Nicolas Vachon of Canada
