Veteran tennis player Harshana Godamanna has announced his retirement from tennis. He made his debut at the Davis Cup as a 16 year old in 2002.
He made his 20th appearance and won his last match in the finals, adding to the count as the most number of Singles wins for a Sri Lankan in Davis Cup.
On a positive note, Sri Lanka qualified for Division III for 2023.
