The schedule for the 2023 Netball Quad Series in Cape Town has been revealed, with the hosts South Africa due to open the tournament against New Zealand next month.
Competition is scheduled to start on January 22, with Australia and England also playing in the opening day of competition.
The following day, the home team come up against England, while Australia and New Zealand face off in the late game.
England play New Zealand and South Africa face Australia in the last of the round-robin matches on January 25.
On January 26, the final and the third-place playoff are set to take place, concluding the tournament.
Australia won last year’s Quad Series in London and the team are looking for similar success this year as they prepare for the 2023 Netball World Cup, which is also set to take place in Cape Town from July 28 until August 6.
“The Quad Series is a key part of our preparation ahead of the 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town,” said Australian head coach Stacey Marinkovich.
“We will continue to build on our connection as a group and look at combinations across the court.”
Australia come into the tournament as the Commonwealth Games champions too, claiming gold at Birmingham 2022 in August.
New Zealand are the defending Netball World Cup champions from 2019.
