Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will have their biggest supporter cheering for them when they take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday (April 6).
KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan will be cheering for Nitish Rana & Co at Eden Gardens. KKR will be playing in their home ground after four years, and they will be keen to start on a winning note after losing the first game against Punjab Kings.
Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh is making sure KKR has enough support and motivation to topple Virat Kohli-starrer RCB.
Shah Rukh Khan’s presence will be a massive confidence booster for KKR, who will be eager to make their homecoming at Eden Gardens a happy one. According to the sources, the Bollywood Superstar will arrive in Kolkata on the day of the match. The Pathaan Star has been a regular visitor at Eden Gardens since the inception of IPL in 2008.
The last time Shah Rukh was present at Eden Gardens was during KKR’s final home game against Mumbai Indians on April 28. KKR won the game, with the actor winning the hearts of the crowd by taking a round of the stadium. While it is not clear whether the Pathaan Actor will speak to the players before they leave for Eden, a host of other Bollywood superstars will be present at the Eden Gardens along with Shah Rukh to support KKR.
