In the final lucky-ball, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) clinched a victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) by four wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. After winning the toss, RR decided to bat first. Jos Buttler scored an impressive 95 runs off 59 balls, with Sanju Samson contributing an unbeaten 66 runs off 38 balls, helping RR post a total of 214/2 in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Marco Jansen took wickets for SRH.
In response, SRH got off to a brilliant start with Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi scoring well. Sharma scored 55 runs off 34 balls, and Tripathi scored 47 runs off 29 balls. Yuzvendra Chahal’s impactful spell put some pressure on SRH batters, as Chahal took four wickets for 29 runs. However, Glenn Phillips gave some deliveries and took SRH to the winning track. The last over was thrilling! In the final over, SRH required 17 runs to win. In the 19.2nd over, Abdul Samad hit a six. However, in the 19.5th over, SRH still required 5 runs to win. Samad tried to hit a six, but the catch was taken by Buttler. Everyone thought RR would win the match, but it was a no-ball!! Finally, Samad hit a six and took SRH to a stylish victory over RR.
