It was a super exciting finale between the Chennai Super Kings and the Gujarat Titans. Ravindra Jadeja was the hero of CSK, who hit a six and a four on the last two balls, leading CSK to a 5-wicket (DLS) victory over GT. Earlier, CSK won the toss and opted to bowl first. For GT, Sai Sudharsan displayed a brilliant batting performance, scoring 96 runs off 47 balls with 6 sixes and 8 fours, along with Wriddhiman Saha’s half-century that helped GT post 214/4 in 20 overs. Matheesha Pathirana took 2 wickets, while Deepak Chahar and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each.
Due to heavy rain, CSK had a target of 170 in 15 overs. In response, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway scored 26 and 47, respectively. Noor Ahmad took 2 wickets, and Mohit Sharma took 3 wickets for GT. However, it was a fantastic match from start to end, and CSK clinched their fifth TATA IPL title.
