Netball World Cup loses Vitality title sponsorship

Health insurance company Vitality has pulled out from sponsoring the 2023 Netball World Cup, with little more than two weeks before the tournament begins in South Africa.

A subsidiary of South Africa-based financial services firm Discovery, it was announced in February that Vitality was set to return as the title sponsor of the tournament, having previously backed the 2019 edition in the same category. The brand has a number of sponsorships across netball, including the naming rights to the England national team.

Now, Discovery has now confirmed Vitality will no longer sponsor the tournament, adding that the company will focus on its partnerships with both the South African and England national teams respectively.
