Sri Lanka will meet Jamaica in their opening match in the 2023 Netball World cup which will unfold today (28) in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Sri Lanka let by Gayanjali Amarawansa stated that her team is in very much confident to face the mighty nations in the tournament. Lankan lasses will meet Jamaica, host nation South Africa and Wales in the Group C in the first round .
Coach Thilaka Jinadasa is in the view that even though Sri Lanka will face a tough challenge in the tournament , they will make every effort to be in the ranks of 10-15 at the end of the tournament
