Australia has completed its first preliminary stage at the Netball World Cup with a thumping win over Fiji in Cape Town.
The Diamonds led from the start and were stronger all over the court, finishing with a 101-32 victory in Group A.
The result follows wins over Zimbabwe and Tonga and means Australia finishes top of the group with a 100 per cent record.
The Fijian team did its best to stifle the Australian attack, but they trailed 23-9 after the opening quarter.
The Diamonds matched that in the second period, to lead 46-18 at the main break.
The Australians ran out the game in typical fashion, winning the third term 26-9, before over-running their tiring opponents to score 29 goals to 5 in the final quarter.
They brought up the century of goals with less than a minute to go in the game.
Cara Koenen was the standout in attack, finishing with a perfect 37 goals from 37 attempts.
Sophie Garbin managed 54 goals from 60 attempts, while vice-captain Steph Wood had 10 goals from 11 shots.
On the Fijian side, goal shooter Lydia Panapasa finished with 16 goals from 17 attempts.
