It was an easy match for Jaffna Kings to beat Galle Titans by 8 wickets with 44 balls to spare. GT won the toss and elected to bat first. JK bowler, Dunith Wellalage, delivered a brilliant spell, taking 4 wickets and stopping GT’s innings at 117/9 in 20 overs. GT’s skipper, Dasun Shanaka, scored 30 runs with 2 fours and 2 sixes.
Chasing the small target, JK open batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 54 runs while Towhid Hridoy unbeaten 44 runs took JK to a winning track. Shakib Al Hasan took 2 wickets for GT.
