Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga’s top-class all-round performance sealed the 8-wicket win for BLK over JK. He scored an unbeaten 52 runs in just 22 balls, including 5 fours and 3 sixes, and also took 3 wickets for 9 runs. Earlier, BLK won the toss and invited JK to bat first. Dunith Wellalage scored an unbeaten 38 runs for JK, which was the highest score of their innings. However, JK could only manage to score 117/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
In the second innings, Fakhar Zaman scored 42 runs off 39 balls, and along with Hasaranga’s half-century, took BLK to victory with 42 balls to spare. Mahesh Theekshana and Nandre Burger took one wicket each for JK.
