It was the last match in Pallekele between Colombo Strikers and Jaffna Kings. CS won the toss and elected to bat first. In the CS innings, Pathum Nissanka and the new skipper Babar Azam posted a 57-run partnership for the first wicket. Nissanka scored 36 runs, and Babar scored 24 runs. Dunith Wellalage and Dilshan Madushanka took 2 wickets each, managing CS’s total of 146/8 in 20 overs. Wellalage took 2 wickets for 9 runs and was awarded the player of the match title.
In reply, JK openers Nishan Madushka and Rahmanullah Gurbaz built a 56-run partnership. Madushka and Gurbaz scored 46 and 39 runs respectively. Eventually, JK chased the target easily with 33 balls to spare.
Jaffna Kings win the match by 6 wickets.
