The front runner for the captaincy will be Kusal Mendis.
3 member National Cricket Selection Committee, comprising its Chairman Pramodya Wickremesinghe, Hemantha Wickramaratne, & Romesh Kaluwitharana, under the supervision of the Cricket Committee Head Mahela Jayawardene, is expected to pick the final 15-member squad today.
