An unlucky moment for New Zealand as Pakistan won by 21 runs (DLS Method). In the first innings, NZ posted a mammoth target of 401/6 in 50 overs, thanks to Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (95). Mohammad Wasim picked up 3 wickets for Pakistan.
In reply, Pakistan started their innings strongly with Fakhar Zaman, who displayed a brilliant unbeaten 126 runs before the match was stopped due to rain. However, with this victory, Pakistan is still in the semi-final race and has secured the fifth position in the points table.
