Sri Lanka easily chased down the target and won the T20I series 2-1 against Zimbabwe at RPICS. Earlier, SL won the toss and elected to bowl first, limiting ZIM’s innings to 82 in 14.1 overs. Brian Bennett was the top scorer for ZIM, scoring 29 runs before being dismissed by Angelo Mathews. SL skipper Wanindu Hasaranga took 4 wickets, and he is just a few wickets away from reaching his 100 T20I wicket milestone.
Chasing the easy target, Sri Lanka chase down the target, losing only one wicket. Pathum Nissanka and Dhananjaya de Silva finished the game in 10.5 overs. Sean Williams took one wicket for ZIM.
